H1N1 Announcements
Pupils who have traveled to any country with sustained community transmission of Influenza A H1N1 should not attend classes or participate in any school activities for 7 days upon their return to Singapore. They are to stay at home. The countries/regions are Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Hong Kong SAR, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States of America. Please refer to the MOH website http://www.moh.gov.sg for updates.
School will open as planned on Monday 29 June 2009. A letter has been sent to all parents detailing the precautionary measures being implemented, along with a travel declaration that needs to be submitted by your child on the first day of school. Both the letter and travel declaration can be downloaded for your convenience.
Please do note that the annual CCPS Open House has been cancelled. As such, Friday, 3 July, will be a normal school day.

Cancellation of Event - Open House (Friday - 3 July 2009)
As a precautionary measure in view of the H1N1 situation, we have decided to cancel our open house event. We greatly regret the inconvenience caused. Should you be interested in getting to know more about our school, we would be happy to make special arrangements for you to visit our school. Please call us at 68441418 to make an appointment. Either myself, my Vice-Principal or one of my managers will be happy to meet with you and tell you more about our school and its programmes.

Recycling Craft Competition 2009
The annual recycling craft competition was held on 25 May 2009 as part of post mid-year examinations activities. P1-P6 pupils took part in the competition. Teachers from each level decided on a different theme and the pupils were asked to bring materials that can be reused from home to create their project. Click here to read more.

Cyberwellness Talk
A talk on Cyberwellness was conducted by Touch Community Services for the parents on 4 April 2009. The talk covered topics on safety of Internet, blogging and online gaming. Through real-life examples and exploration of the various websites and online communities, the talk was informative in raising the awareness of the draw of the virtual world and activities. National Primary School Chinese Creative Writing Competition
Two of our girls took part in the National Primary School Chinese Creative Writing Competition 2009 and do our school proud in winning the 2nd position and merit award out of the 300 over participants from 84 schools. They are Huang Jia Yi (P4 Joy), who won 2nd position with a trophy, cash $100 and Besta products worth about $200 and Chen Fang Ping (P4 Joy), who won the merit award with a trophy and a Besta electronic dictionary.
